In March 2023, I took part in the Mason Hayes & Curran LLP Technology Conference; an incredible event full of thought-provoking discussions around recruitment, talent, equity, investment, and technology. I was part of the future technology panel aimed at discussing the value and limitations of ChatGPT, how business should approach adopting AI, the ethical considerations surrounding this technology, and what's coming next.
One of the reasons why I love working in technology is that I get a chance to meet and discuss lots of interesting topics with some fascinating people. Recently during Altada's inaugural AI Possible Summit in Miami, the purpose of which was to unearth new opportunities around AI and explore how having a diversity of talent results in a positive impact for businesses, I got an opportunity to moderate the keynote AI and Emerging Technologies panel discussing topics around software development, data science, data ethics, privacy and security, performance modelling, along with the future impact of how AI is being applied within media, entertainment, NFTs, the Metaverse, and more.
During my special address presentation at the Finovate Conference, I discussed the importance of companies to become data-drive, the advantages of understanding emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), and how our (Altada's) document intelligence AI solution can reduce your costs by 90%, with a specific focus on non-performing loans (NPL).
During my panel discussion at the International John McCarthy AI Summer School Conference, I discussed how AI is currently utilised within healthcare, some of the challenges that are being faced within the industry, and also some future trends.
During my panel discussion at the AI Summit Conference, I discussed the impact of AI on the Irish job market, how we can make Ireland a recruitment magnet for overseas AI-skilled executives, how we can attract more women into AI-related roles, and how we can use AI to attract and retain more talent.
During my talk at the Beyond IoT Conference, I gave an overview of McKesson, discussed innovation (in terms of what is innovation, why innovate, who is innovating, how to create habit forming products, and how to make innovation successful), talked about the digital transformation (in terms of connected devices, digitalisation of data, and the changes within the healthcare landscape), and then finished discussing some healthcare trends and the future of personalised and connected healthcare.

During my panel discussion at the CIO Inspired Business Media Conference, I talked about how McKesson has handled the digital transformation, how we've overcome challenges, what has worked and what hasn't, and some of the ethical considerations in the move towards automation and artificial intelligence.
During my panel discussion at the Tech Summit, I discussed the interaction between technology and humans and how technology will change the way we work, the way we live, and the way we play. I put a specific emphasis on the security concern in terms of the explosion of connected devices and online data, along with IoT sensors and how companies can leverage augmented reality (AR) to compliment these sensors.
During my talk at The Security Show, I talked about the history of McKesson, gave an overview of online data and the potential threats, the age of digitalisation, the healthcare landscape and how it has changed over the last few years, the evolution of cybersecurity and complex systems, how we can move to a predictive and proactive healthcare model, and also how artificial intelligence (AI) could be introduced to aid this.
